is "awesomeness" a word?

Sorry that it's upside down....I rotated it but when it imports, it keeps flipping over...anyhow that's how homework makes me feel.... Overwhelmed!

...well Stu and I had sort of a date night yesterday... we were lucky enough to be added to the guest list to the Caedmon's Call concert, thanks to Aric (he plays bass in Smithband). And if awesomeness is a real word, that is the best way to describe it. We had a great time and heard wonderful music from them. Derek Webb and Andrew Osenga played some of their stuff too, both of which are incredible. The show was over 3 hours and we had a fabulous time. Thanks to Aric again!

We later ended the night with a little homework which is sort of sad because it was friday night after all and we both had had a long day of school and stress. Stu was almost late for a test and I had great difficulty in residential construction when my TA told my and my lab partner how to do something the wrong way! 

So here's what happened.... We were in-charge of  two walls for our groups structure. we cut all of the lumber and had put one of the walls together. (after asking the TA a question about the studs and where they needed to be placed. He told us that there needed to be a 3inch over hang and then place the stud at 16 inches on center. Well we did that and our group later told us that it was not a 3 inch, but a 3 1/2 inch over hang...) so with our 3 and not 3 1/2 inch over hang, it made it so that our studs were 1/2 off! Gross! So we had a great time taking that wall apart and I have to say that it was terrible because the nails were in there with a nail gun! It was no fun and hard because I don't have that much arm strength and not so graceful with a hammer and crowbar. 

Anyhow, back the the friday night studying.... we started taking pictures of Daisy, which is usually what happens when we are looking for reasons not to study....and they were pretty funny!
