Hanging out after some coffee at Taft Street
Picking the nose of the Blue Bell Cow at the Blue Bell Factory in Brenham on the way home
Deliciousness
We started the week off by sleeping in a lot and enjoying our time together. Then on Tuesday we headed down to Houston to go through Stu's stuff from his Mom's house. On the way down highway 290 we stopped on the side of the road at the Smith's old RV Park and fed Maggie the Cow some crackers over the fence, which was sad and great at the same time.
We stayed the night at Johnny and Jenni Simmons' and had a wonderful time getting to visit with them. We think that they are some of the greatest people, Jenni is so kind and sweet. Then the next day we enjoyed lunch with some of Stu's friends, right before we started the main purpose of our trip.
After that, we enjoyed dinner with Marsha, Stu's Mom. Then checked into the Intercontinental for the night. After check in we headed to HFBC to see if we could run into Stephen, Star, and the rest of the Smiths. We were really happy that we were able to sit and hang out with them because we don't get to that often. (we are usually in a rush) It was nice to talk them see how they are adjusting to the change.
On the way home the next afternoon we made a pit stop in Brenham at the Blue Bell Factory and enjoyed a cup of heavenly ice cream. Yummy!
